When I was 9 years old I used to fish on Lake Erie during the summer. I was able to walk to the lake and fish by myself which I really liked doing. The fishing rod was a broken fishing rod with dacron tied to the end and let it fly all of 5 feet with a small piece of night crawler. One evening at sunset the lake was totally calm and the lake was at its usual low hum which I always lulled me in to a meditative state. When the lake is wavy there is no hum, just the wind. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hum http://frequentcritic.blogspot.com/2008/04/hum-do-you-hear-it.html I was fishing on a flat and there were clearly no fish to be seen in the 2 feet of totally clear water. My mind was clear of internal dialog and my intent was on the 360 degrees of my surroundings in the moment. I was fishing anyway; praying intently, hoping that something would appear and low and behold a small yellow ring perch came out of nowhere and chomped on the bit of worm. I let it go and thanked the higher powers that made this happen. It felt wonderful to have this request immediately materialize out of nothing. Faith is indeed a great thing when we immerse in the great potential. I tell everyone that you must first believe there are fish down there before you can catch one. I am trying to remember times in my life when source turned into matter. It has happened more in the dream state which seems like a bridging point where source meets with my imagination. A few times it has happened on the physical and not lasted long enough. I have faith that these moments encourage me to keep pressing on.
